Doug Mitchell, PMHNP-BC, DNP
An Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, specializing in Psychiatry, Dr. Mitchell aims to: identify, address and modify conditions, limiting patterns and behaviors that diminish function and suppress growth.
My philosophy and approach is Biopsychosocial: I account for the whole dynamic being, yet maintain the explicit intent of fostering professional development. I approach each therapeutic encounter as a unique opportunity to assist in expanding awareness and elevating consciousness. I believe illuminating barriers is the first step toward eliminating them.
